We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Ahmad Okasha as a Visiting Senior Lecturer. Dr. Okasha brings over a decade of expertise in instructing at both graduate and undergraduate levels, with a specialization in healthcare management and public health.

Dr. Okasha is a prolific researcher with a robust track record, having authored more than six Scopus-indexed papers in the last four years. He is currently spearheading a comprehensive global scoping review of medical tourism literature, demonstrating his commitment to advancing knowledge in this emerging field.

In addition to his research prowess, Dr. Okasha is distinguished as a certified EIAC healthcare assessor and a TEMOS Candidate Assessor, underscoring his dedication to quality healthcare assessment. He is also an internationally recognized speaker, having delivered compelling presentations at prestigious conferences in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.

Dr. Okasha's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Health Services Research & Organization from the Medical College of Virginia/VCU, an M.S. in Hospital and Health Care Facilities Administration from Jordan University, and a B.S. in Public Health from Yarmouk University.

His extensive experience includes roles such as Strategy & Transformation Specialist at The Palladium Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he led a strategy transformation and execution project for a large healthcare supply chain company. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Wollongong Dubai, teaching Clinical Governance and Healthcare Leadership, and as an Associate Professor at other institutions in the UAE, where he oversaw the Health Administration program and taught various health sciences and management courses.

Dr. Okasha has made significant contributions through industry-focused workshops and panels, addressing critical topics like medical tourism and diagnostic-related groups. He successfully managed a global medical tourism review, collaborating with colleagues from Australia, Hong Kong, and the UAE. His efforts in coordinating the re-accreditation of the Health Administration program by the CAA and securing international accreditation with Eco Canada have affirmed the program's exceptional standards.
