Dr. Khalid Al Saadi is a seasoned educator and technology visionary with a distinguished 26-year career dedicated to transforming education in Oman. He previously held pivotal roles at Sultan Qaboos University, Sultanate of Oman, including director of the Center for Educational Technologies and Director of the Oman National Center for Open Educational Resources.

Armed with a Ph.D. in Technology Integration from the University of Queensland, a Master's in Educational Technology and TESOL from the University of Manchester, and a Bachelor's in English Language Teaching from Sultan Qaboos University, Dr. Al Saadi brings a comprehensive skill set to his work. His research and initiatives, supported by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said and the Oman Research Council, have been instrumental in aligning Oman's curriculum with the demands of the digital age.

Dr. Al Saadi's expertise lies in integrating technology to enhance teaching and learning, designing effective e-learning experiences, and fostering a culture of innovation. His passion for empowering educators is evident in his extensive experience delivering professional development workshops and mentoring aspiring educators.

His expertise spans a broad spectrum, including e-learning, technology integration, professional development, open educational resources, authentic assessment, the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), and the emerging field of artificial intelligence in education. Dr. Al Saadi's work has been instrumental in improving educational outcomes and preparing students for the demands of the 21st century.
